Use these official routes for records connected with Moffat County:

- Criminal records and rap sheets: use the Colorado Bureau of Investigation
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact Moffat County Sheriff's Records Division or the jail
- Official background checks: order through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Record sealing: file through the court that heard the case

The counter is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except holidays. Completed forms may be emailed to records@sheriff.moffat.co.us or mailed to MCSO Attn: Records.

Public assistance is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Craig Police Records is at 800 W.
